Though it enjoys a rich tradition of innovation, Cotton Incorporated was struggling in 2011. With a diminishing product development pipeline and lack of defined innovation strategy, the company had to make a change in how it established new ideas.
Cotton got to work developing a shared understanding of what innovation meant in its culture. With Imaginatik’s help, leaders then drafted a repeatable innovation process.
From there, Innovation Central, Imaginatik’s collaboration platform, facilitated the sharing and communication that Cotton needed to ignite new ideas. Three of the ideas submitted were selected for implementation and are in the process of being taken to market.
