Imaginatik Events

One of the key benefits of working with Imaginatik is the ability to exchange valuable experience with professionals from a variety of industries. Customers consider our events an opportunity to enrich their knowledge and to build a network of contacts with whom they can discuss emerging challenges when managing innovation in their organizations.

Imaginatik currently hosts three types of customer events: Global User Group Meetings, Regional User Group Meetings, and Edge Events.

Global User Group Meetings

The Global User Group Meetings provide a forum for Imaginatik clients to share their experiences and learn from emerging best practice. Presentations and discussions cover issues such as the design of reward programs, how to select potential events or projects, and advice on running the Idea Central program as an internal business to support corporate innovation activities.

In addition to meeting fellow Innovation and Idea Management practitioners from around the world at these events, clients have the opportunity to spend time with key Imaginatik staff to discuss new requirements regarding technology and business processes.

For more information regarding the latest Global User Group Meeting and for testimonials from attendees, please visit the Imaginatik Open Community.

Registered Imaginatik customers can access conference materials and photos via the Imaginatik Customers Community.

Regional User Group Meetings

The Regional User Group Meetings are smaller in size and are an opportunity for locally-based clients and interested parties to come together. They provide a great learning experience and networking opportunity for all participants, and are often hosted at a customer's location.

While Imaginatik outlines an agenda, these meetings are driven by the topics that the participants wish to discuss. There are formal presentations, followed by structured but informal conversations in which our leading-edge customers share best practices as well as pitfalls, and help each other design more successful programs.

The conversations are focused around the challenges the attendees are currently facing, with experienced Idea Central administrators from a variety of industries on hand to provide help and suggestions.

Edge Events

The Edge Events are invite-only meetings that provide a forum for experimenting with new ideas around technology and processes. They provide an opportunity for forward thinking, highly creative individuals to discuss emerging trends, new business needs and novel applications of Imaginatik's Idea Central software.

The profound insights that emerge during these sessions shape the vision for the software and are incorporated into future releases.

Some of the topics discussed in recent Edge Events were the following:

  • New ways of evaluating ideas (designing new review processes, identifying new tools or applying the existing tools in new ways)
  • Engaging external participants in internal events - open or networked innovation
  • Management Dashboard for innovation
  • Designing new business processes supported by Idea Central’s FlexForms (e.g. New Ventures process)
