Global Forum Meetings
The Global Forum Meetings are large-scale events for Imaginatik clients to share their experiences and learn from emerging best practice. In addition to meeting fellow practitioners from world-leading organizations that are using Imaginatik's solutions for cost reduction, process improvement, collective intelligence and collaborative innovation programs, clients have the opportunity to spend time with key Imaginatik staff to discuss their specific requirements regarding business processes and technology.
For more information regarding the latest Global Forum Meeting and for testimonials from attendees, please visit the Imaginatik Blog.
Regional User Group Meetings
The Regional User Group Meetings are smaller in size and are an opportunity for locally-based clients and interested parties to come together. They provide a great learning experience and networking opportunity for all participants, and are often hosted at a customer's location.
While Imaginatik outlines an agenda, these meetings are driven by the topics that the participants wish to discuss. There are formal presentations, followed by structured but informal conversations in which our leading-edge customers share best practices as well as pitfalls, and help each other design more successful programs.
The conversations are focused around the challenges the attendees are currently facing, with experienced Idea Central administrators from a variety of industries on hand to provide help and suggestions.
Edge Events
The Edge Events are invite-only meetings that provide a forum for experimenting with new ideas around technology and processes. They provide an opportunity for forward thinking, highly creative individuals to discuss emerging trends, new business needs and novel applications of Imaginatik's services and technology.
The profound insights that emerge during these sessions shape the vision for the software and are incorporated into future releases.
Some of the topics discussed in recent Edge Events were the following:
- New ways of evaluating ideas (designing new review processes, identifying new tools or applying the existing tools in new ways)
- Engaging external participants in Collective Intelligence events - Open or Networked Innovation
- Management Dashboard for Innovation
- Designing new business processes supported by Idea Central’s FlexForms (e.g. New Ventures process)
Webcasts
Imaginatik provides regular webcasts that feature expert speakers from Imaginatik, our customers and our partners. They cover a variety of topics in the areas of Collaborative Innovation and Collective Intelligence.
These free webcasts take place every few weeks and usually last for an hour. For registration and dial-in details please contact marketing@imaginatik.com.
Feedback on Imaginatik's events:
"Innovation management is real and it works. It takes two kinds of people: senior sponsors, and detail-orientated, hands-dirty facilitators. Meet both here. The first six months are the most important and fragile in your innovation program. You can't afford to re-learn everything yourself! These meetings will bring you up to speed with all the learnings from organizations such as Nokia, Dow, Xerox, and Pfizer.
Don't even think you know everything - you don't - yet."
"I learned a lot, made some important contacts and the atmosphere of the two days was just incredible."
"The Global Forum meetings are the best method of learning from other users. Their experience helps you both optimize the sorts of events that you are currently doing and discover new powerful ways to exploit Idea Central."
