Jan 2002: Imaginatik Announces Module Approach for Idea Central
BOSTON, MA (7 Jan, 2002) - Imaginatik, the leading vendor of Idea Management software, announces plans to enrich the features of its existing Idea Central software by offering Add-On Modules.
"The Module approach allows us to offer very powerful new features to those companies who need them, without over-complicating the system for the basic users", according to Mark Turrell, CEO of Imaginatik.
Modules currently under development include the an Innovation Portal, and a Rewards System. The Portal allows companies to promote all kinds of innovation activities, including Idea Central events. The Rewards System allows companies to manage a points-based award system for idea contributors.
A further module, the Idea Warehouse, is already available as part of larger enterprise deployments of Idea Central. The Warehouse is a global, searchable repository of ideas from Idea Central events and other sources.
