Imaginatik Wins a Queen's Award for Enterprise

LONDON—April 23, 2007—Imaginatik plc (AIM: IMTK), a leading provider of business innovation and technology-based systems for innovation and idea management, is delighted to announce today that it has been awarded a Queen's Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category.

Following a rigorous judging procedure, which culminated in a short-list being scrutinised by the Prime Minister’s Advisory Committee, Imaginatik received the award for the first time for its demonstration of substantial growth in overseas earnings and its commercial success, more than doubling its exports over three years.

Founded in 1994 by CEO Mr. Mark Turrell, Imaginatik developed a software-based process, now its core product “Idea Central”, to enable corporations to facilitate innovations systematically across their operations. The Queen's Awards for Enterprise are the UK's most prestigious Awards for business performance. Announced on the Queen’s birthday, Saturday 21 April, they recognise and reward outstanding achievements by UK companies. The Awards are made each year by The Queen, on the advice of the Prime Minister, who is assisted by an Advisory Committee that includes representatives of Government, industry and commerce, and the trade unions.
