Imaginatik CEO, Mark Turrell, invited to be panellist and discussion leader at the 39th World Economic Forum
LONDON and BOSTON – 23 January 2009 – Mark Turrell, CEO of Imaginatik plc (AIM:IMTK), a leading provider of cost reduction, process improvement and collaborative innovation software and processes, will find himself once again in elite company when he attends the World Economic Forum's 39th Annual Meeting in Davos-Klosters next week.
Under the theme "Shaping the Post-Crisis World", more than 2,500 participants from 96 countries will convene, including a record 41 heads of state or government. Key finance, foreign affairs, trade and energy ministers will also join heads of non-governmental organisations, social entrepreneurs and religious leaders at the Meeting. The Meeting's programme will follow six programmatic tracks that are high on the global agenda in 2009, and once again innovation features with one of the programmes entitled "Catalysing the Next Wave of Growth through Innovation, Science and Technology."
With Imaginatik having been named a Technology Pioneer 2008 by the World Economic Forum last year, Mr. Turrell has been invited to return to this year's event to participate in several groups including "Leveraging Mass Innovation" taking place on Saturday 31st January. Mark will be a Discussion Leader alongside the likes of Mozilla Chairman, Mitchell Barker and the well-known American Journalist, Jeff Jarvis.
