Imaginatik Hosts Cross-Industry Innovation Management Global Forum

Innovation leaders share best practices for targeted problem solving

BOSTON – 12 October 2009 – Imaginatik, the Boston-based provider of Collective Intelligence software and services, will be hosting their 2009 Global Forum from October 27 to 28. Imaginatik customers, such as Bombardier Aerospace, Chubb and Pfizer, will showcase and discuss how they use the collective intelligence of employees, customers and partners to spur innovation efforts. In addition to the cross-industry collaboration that is the hallmark of this annual event, Imaginatik will also present keynote addresses from two prestigious speakers:

Jeff Howe – Jeff is a contributing editor for Wired and the author of that publication’s seminal article, “The Rise of Crowdsourcing.” Jeff is currently a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University. Drawing on the ideas from his blog, crowdsourcing.com, and his just-published book, “Crowdsourcing: Why the Power of the Crowd Is Driving the Future of Business,” Jeff will share his perspectives on crowdsourcing, innovation and idea management.

Rob Bryant – Rob is a Six Sigma Program master black belt and Vice President, Quality for CSC’s Global Infrastructure Services group. He’ll share the fascinating and inspiring story of his personal triumph after a life-altering industrial accident, and link it to his day job at CSC. In addition to being a renowned motivator, author and Guinness World Record holder, Rob helps CSC clients focus on quality improvements through a practice that combines LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies with Imaginatik’s Idea Central.
