ChemBioConnect: Collaborative Visual Chemistry Research Tool

ChemBioConnect is a powerful new visualization tool for researchers in the fields of pharmaceuticals, bioscience, biotechnology, chemistry and food science. Based on Imaginatik’s Idea Central and CambridgeSoft’s ChemBioDraw software, researchers can now develop their ideas visually and collaborate with large, distributed groups of colleagues to solve molecular design and synthetic optimization problems.

The software solution effectively allows for collaborative problem-solving among scientists by combining CambridgeSoft’s chemically intelligent visual toolsets with Imaginatik’s leading-edge innovation and idea management platform, comprised of software, services and a deep understanding of how human networks operate.

Targeted at the needs of research and development professionals in the areas of organic chemistry, synthetic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, fine chemicals and specialty chemicals, the ChemBioConnect offering was developed in close collaboration with Pfizer, Inc. Pfizer leveraged its deep experience with Imaginatik’s Idea Central and CambridgeSoft’s ChemBioDraw products to help define the functionality of the solution, and Pfizer researchers have been using the ChemBioConnect software since the spring of 2009.
