Add-On Modules

The add-on modules provide a set of optional components that extend the functionality of Imaginatik's core Idea Management software, Idea Central. The modules can be integrated immediately to address the specific requirements of your company. Our main Idea Management software add-on modules are the following:

Portal Module

The Portal Module is a front-end content management system to promote internal innovation activities and manage the access to Idea Central events. Fully integrated into Imaginatik's leading-edge Idea Management software products for collecting and reviewing ideas, the portal can be easily set up to publish all updated information of your choice, including current campaigns, news on the reward program, background information on the innovation initiatives, and access to creativity and training resources.

Rewards Module

The Rewards Module is a highly functional rewards system, based on corporate best practice, to manage rewards and recognition of Idea Management activities, such as the submission of highly rated ideas or other contributions to events. The system allocates points automatically on the basis of the reward rules that have been defined by the company.

Idea Warehouse

The Idea Warehouse is a shared repository to store ideas from multiple Idea Central events as well as other sources, such as spreadsheets and MS Access databases, to provide a common database of ideas for enhanced searching and idea re-use across the whole organization. The Warehouse is populated with ideas from distributed innovation initiatives, ensuring that submissions are widely available and can be accessed in a common place.

Orchid Module

The Orchid Module is an online assessment tool and management system to allow companies to get higher value contributions from individuals and teams to support best-in-class innovation programs. At the core of the Orchid Module is an online questionnaire, designed to reveal individual preferences and aptitudes towards innovation and working with ideas. The Orchid Module is based on several years of research by Imaginatik Research, investigating the importance of personality styles for various aspects of the innovation process.

External Access Module

The External Access Module is a profiles-based system to permit non-employees, such as customers, suppliers, and outside experts to access the Idea Central environment and participate in a company's events (available for hosted customers only).
